DIY - Easy New Years Hats

Pointy Party Hats! Perfect for New Years!

We crafted some fun and sparkly headbands - now onto the classics!

What you need:

• 12x12 Scrapbook paper
• Hot glue
• Scissors
• Christmas garland
• Optional: glitter, glue, sequins, stickers - other fun embellishments

Getting started:

1. Trim off a corner of the scrapbook paper to create a curved edge
2. Gather opposite points to create a cone shape and hot glue in place
3. Decorate - we used hot glue to adhere tree garland to the base of the cone and the point

Our daughter created this craft on her own and then surprised me by re-sizing the full size version to create a party hat for her doll.
