A Home Run With Our Family!

Red Sox Nation is alive and well at Fenway! 

This tour is a 'must do' for friends and family visiting the area!

Tours run daily from 9-5 OR until 3 hours before game time - year round!

TIP - Use your AAA card and save $1

The tour kiosk is located at Gate D - look for the sign - we parked right across the street for $17 for the day. There is metered parking and a garage also in the area. 

TIP - get there for the early tours, we noticed by afternoon the size of the tours were getting larger.

Once you get your ticket for the tour, you will go across the street to the original souvenir shop where the tour will leave from. This is a great place to visit for memorabilia - everything from autographed balls and bases to actual bricks from the park. The shop also has EVERYTHING you can think of that is Red Sox and a few things you might not think of - we found Red Sox kitchen garbage bags!

Fenway and the Greatest Generation Display - A Family Favorite

 Our tour guide was great! The tour was full of history, stories, lore and legend and the park itself is a sight to see. I had never experienced Fenway without being surrounded by thousands of other fans - there was a sense of calm at the park - I kept thinking "if these wall could talk" - and many of them did. With vignettes in every crack and crevice - there are so many photo opportunities to see the 'life and times' of Fenway.

You will be able to photograph EVERYTHING inside and out - every wall has something on it or in it - I took over 60 pictures! Here are just a few:

One of the silliest moments was when my son discovered the hot dog vending machine - it was love at first sight! (I think he wants one for his room)

 

I can't say enough about our day. It was a wonderful way to spend some time as a family. 

Confession: Forgive me Red Sox Nation for saying this, but we are not a huge baseball family - this tour though really changed things for us. It was really incredible to see the park in this way and it brought us all together to experience the true magic of Fenway.  I can't wait to plan a trip back - Fenway looks so different to me now!
