Sew Easy! Pillowcase Carry-Alls

Perfect to Make with the Kids! 

I have been trying to introduce my kids to the sewing machine - mind you, I can barely sew a straight line but I do think it is important to be able to sew on a button and know how to thread a sewing machine - you never know when you might need to put something together in a pinch! 

Here's what you need:
A Pillowcase
Marker or Pen that will write on fabric
Scissors
Thread
Sewing Machine or Needle/Patience

TIP - I picked up some pillowcases at the local thrift store for $.50 each - mush less than purchasing fabric and more than half the stitching is already done for you!

Fold in Half - Mark Pillow Case
Cut Along Marked Area


Turn Case Inside Out and Sew Top Pieces Together
Optional: Turn down edges and sew
Your Finished Bag!
