As a kid, I would get a dollar while on vacation - I would run to the local penny candy store and fill that bag to the brim! Those were the days!
You can still do this in Ogunquit at Perkins Cove Candies! Ogunquit is a gorgeous seaside town. Make it a spot to visit this summer - Just an hour and half north of Boston.

| Salt Water Taffy is where it's AT. It's an acquired taste, but oh, so yummy. TIP: I was married on a very hot and sticky day - I had assortments of taffy candies on each table. Guests still tell me what a great idea it was! Candy shops love when you buy from them in bulk for such occasions! BUY LOCAL. |
