| Ready for occupancy - Fairies welcome! |
 |
| Move in ready fairy house |
My sister has the green thumb in the family – over the
weekend she had the kids in the neighborhood working on some fairy houses for
their rock garden area. The supply list was short and simple – a wooden bird
house from a craft store or dollar store (
we found some at Amazon here) to use as a base and some
Arlene’s Tacky Glue – everything else was
supplied by nature and the kid’s imagination.

| Carefully placing the house so the fairies will find it. |
|
| Start with some bits and pieces - pine cones, moss, pussy willows, bark, pine needles, small leaves, acorns - anything will work. Arlene's Tacky Glue is just that 'tacky' it goes on nice and thick and dries clear. You can find it at your local craft supply store - we got ours at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Store - great to get on sale or with one of their customer coupons - we use this for all sorts of projects - a must have! | | | | | | |

Help the kids prepare by going on a nature collection in the yard - any little pieces that they find can be incorporated. Next apply a layer of glue - one surface at a time and let them add their nature treasures - let everything dry overnight - and the house will be move in ready!
Have fun with it!
