A Child Needs Our Help
We have learned of Kylie and her serious illness just last week. Very close friends of mine in Rockport brought her story to my attention and to be honest, I'm deeply saddened by what this precious child must go through. Please read all about her and if you can, please donate whatever you are led to offer as her parents dedicate their lives to saving their precious child's life. Let's give comfort of money to them as they fearlessly tend to their baby. No one should have to endure this - so I hope you can help. Sweet Kylie's Story
Kylie is 19 months old from Alpine, California. On December 30th she was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma.
Sweet Kylie Elizabeth was born on May 11, 2012 at 6:49 am, weighing 6.5 lbs. and 21 inches long to first time parents Luke and Bree. From the beginning Kylie has always been so full of life, so vivacious, independent, free spirit, smart, happy, smiley, and such a ray of sunshine. She is adorable!
On December 26th, Kylie went to the doctors for a swollen eye. The first scan showed a mass behind her eye and doctor's hoped it was just an infection.
Unfortunately it wasn't. :(
In total, little Kylie has 3 tumors in her head and face, some on her liver, one by her spleen (the biggest of all her tumors and the first one that started), and other tumors on her pelvic bone, spine, femur of one leg and calf bone on the other leg.
On December 30th, Kylie was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma. After her bone morrow biopsy, they also found that it had spread to her marrow as well.
