I might just be one of the last people in New England that doesn't have a dishwasher, well, technically I am the dishwasher. The sink and faucet are by far the most used item in our kitchen - I may not be cooking on the stove everyday but I'm washing, soaking, rinsing, straining, draining, (get the picture!) all the time.
