My husband's first career was as a talented professional French Chef, yup...he can COOK! I know, I scored in that department, but he rarely gets to enjoy his time in the kitchen with his full-time computer software job and our busy family household. 

Several years ago, we remodeled our kitchen.  He truly did a wonderful job and to this day, we are pleased with our purchases.  But now that some of our appliances have seen 'better days' we are ready to upgrade a few of our appliances.  The following products I highlight in this post are in serious contention.

U-line Undercounter Refrigerator

Okay, this is one of my favorite appliances in my kitchen. Seriously!  When my husband announced that we would be getting one I gave him the royal N-O W-A-Y! I have since come to my senses and realized how incredibly helpful and economical this mini-fridge is.  Not only could my little girls access drinks and snacks from this fridge (our large sized fridge could do some serious damage to a small person is they let the door swing open!) it saves energy on all the opening and closing of our large full sized one. 

Hands down, this was a splurge at first for us, but it has become so useful and one of our top recommendations to all of our friends.  Guests don't have to rummage around and during the holidays, refrigerator real estate is always at a premium.
