Mommy Musings: Is your Elf ready? Are you ready?

Yes, we have one of those magical little creatures that visits our house every December 

That is, since 2008 when Nannie surprised the kids with him. Since then, Nannie has received several phone calls from me on the 'stresses' of having a house with an Elf. (if you know what I mean - then again, he is always watching.)

Our elf's name is Gee. He shows up around December 1st, give or take a day or two depending on the weather - sometimes traveling back from the North pole can be tricky (and/or I need to find out where he was last)

This year he'll be traveling in style. We have outfitted him with a new football jersey and his very own door.

Our magical door came from an ingenious mind at Hot Pink Lime.
There are 2 designs to choose from - both equally magical and made of a unique fabric that is low tac and repositionable so it can be removed after the holidays are over. I believe it is truly magic - when our daughter helped me find a place for it and we put it up - it began to snow! Seriously, it did!

There is more Elf magic out there today then when we got him and it only seemed to fitting to get him a new jersey. We'll leave it out with a note so that he knows it's for him and not the dog.
