"Hand in Glove – A Community United
For every person diagnosed with cancer, so many more are affected. Families, friends, coworkers and caregivers all form the support networks that enable patients to deal with the many aspects of treatment.
With the opening of the Gerrish Breast Care Center at Anna Jaques Hospital, our focus and video’s theme is about “a community united” –individual support networks coming together and becoming something bigger and more powerful than they could be on their own. The pink gloves, and the hands that fill them, are a perfect metaphor for support and strength of community, as well as the skilled hands of the medical professionals whose passion drives patient care."
