Minna Hart Sings for her Birthday

My baby turned 13 this past weekend!  Words can't express how much this young woman has changed my life and I'm here to share a little special video with you. 

My daughter has been singing since she was months old.  Before she spoke, she hummed and sang in her crib, alone in her room.  I always knew she was awake when I could hear her voice connecting sounds together.  As she got older, we noticed she could carry a tune - and it was pretty much her own tone and style.  She begged us to play old school tunes from Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James.  It's cool!

My daughter sings ALL the time.  But her aspirations are humble and she knows that the music industry is tough - she knows she has to have a day job one day.  She simply has to sing and create music all the time and as her mom, I feel very lucky to be around her voice ALL THE TIME.  

My husband and I decided to get her some music lessons a year ago.  The music education is really wonderful.  She's been so committed to it, and we are so proud of her.  Here is her first music video.  It's about her very best friend and about friendship.  We are so very proud - xo Christine
