Summer Chocolate!

Summer Chocolate - perfect for Moms, Teachers, Grads and Dads!

I was looking for a little something to include with my Mother's Day gift for my mom, so I stopped by the Lindt store in our area - find one in your area, click here - and ended up getting a little something not only for my mom, but my sister and girlfriend too!

When it comes to chocolate and the summer I tend to think of chocolate ice cream and chocolate for s'mores but not really as a gift item - Lindt proved me wrong!

Tastes Like Key Lime - Yum!
Coconut!
When I walked in the first item I saw was their new Citrus variety - and right away they offered me a free sample - it tasted like key lime pie inside creamy white chocolate - and just the right amount of lime - not too strong - I knew my mom and girlfriend would love these!

I didn't get much further when I saw the new Coconut truffles! Coconut always makes me think of the beach!

I thought I was all set but looked over and saw a smorgasbord of chocolates in all shapes and flavors. My sister has been planting strawberries and tending to them and her garden, so I had to collect up some strawberry filled chocolates for her for Mother's Day. Check them out - they are even wrapped like strawberries!

Strawberry Filled!

European Specialty Chocolates
Not only did the helpful staff offer great gift giving suggestions and samples - they even offered some great cooking tips!

TIP - Grab a bag of their 'seconds' - bagged, broken unwrapped chocolate pieces at a huge discount- and use them instead of chocolate chips in brownies and cookie recipes - it'll knock the socks off everyone!

My last 'grab' at Lindt was for my blogging buddy who just happened to post about 'Preppy' that morning - the sales associate grabbed the pink and green ribbon and I knew she knew exactly what I was talking about!

Golf Balls Made of Lindt Chocolate!
TIP - Lindt offers a variety of styles of free bags as well as many size boxes to fill (mostly under $2) - they will also add a free ribbon to your bag or box if you tell them it is a gift

TIP - Lindt offers a Lindt Lovers Card that gives you a point for every dollar you spend. You get 25 points for signing up and when you reach 100 points you get $5 back - not bad if you are in need of some sweets to give. You can sign up in the store or online.

I even saw these at the check out for the Dad's in our life - Lindt Golf Balls!

I hope you can make it to Lindt sometime - it is within a few miles of the Seacoast Science Center and in the same plaza as Fire Fly Pottery - 2 other great Mom's Lifesavers places to visit!
