Day Trip Series - Motif #1 Day, Rockport Mass
Come join us for a FABULOUS day in Rockport this Saturday!
Rockport is absolutely GORGEOUS this time of year. The ocean beckons and SO do the artists and small business owners that would love for you to visit after a very long winter sleep!
The Details:
10 am to 5 pm - ALL DAY SATURDAYDowntown Rockport will have music, art, dance and poetry. This event is a long-standing Rockport tradition, a chance to celebrate across the arts through the symbol of Motif No. 1, the symbolic RED fishing shack, which has been subject of countless paintings and photographs throughout the last century.
The festival includes Sidewalk Chalk Art, a scavenger hunt for small versions of Motif No. 1 hidden throughout downtown, a chowder stand in Dock Square. Live music will be a highlight. Jazz, Bluegrass, and classic American Band music will all be featured at the festival with an appearance by the Rockport Legion Band among others.
Rockport businesses will all be open!
