Do you have a Lego fan in your house? I have two and 11 year old and a 44 year old! This year Brick Fair comes to New England - not only are my brick building fans going, they are exhibiting pieces and working at it!

GBC in Action

Brick Fair is put on by AFOLs (Adult Fans of Lego) and is not associated with the famous brick maker but rather an opportunity for AFOLs to showcase their MOCs (My Own Creations). One of the most exciting pieces on exhibit is the GBC (Great Ball Contraption) - can you believe all the acronyms?

Different Fans bring GBC modules that they have created to then be linked together to create a large ball moving contraption/machine - this can get to be over 100 units connected together! Here is an example of the one that my son and husband have been working on:
