Broadway Trip
Cinderella - A Mom's Lifesaver Must!
Wow! What a spectacular production - I still am in awe of the costumes and sets - not to mention the incredibly talented cast - it wasn't just about a day in the city for us, it was a complete Broadway experience.
The music, the orchestra, the voices - all of it wonderful but the best was the story. This show was not about a poor girl waiting for her prince to come, but rather a smart, witty and caring young woman who was going to help the common people be heard - yes, that's right, I'm still taking about Cinderella - can you believe it?
We loved this twist on the traditional tale and it had me wondering what was going to happen next - after all it wasn't following the traditional Cinderella story as I remembered it - I liked this one so much better - and it had a soundtrack! My favorite song of the performance was 'Impossible' - very much how I feel about getting out of the house on time in the morning with the kids!

TIP - The show we went to was sold out - plan in advance of heading to NY if you want to get seats!
Mom's Lifesavers is VERY excited for Wicked to hit Boston this summer! We will see you there.
