Happy Pi Day!

That's right it's March 14th or 3.14

In my child's classroom they will be celebrating the math constant π (pi) on 3.14 with pie! Pi is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, and is approximately equal to 3.14159. What a great and yummy way to learn to about Pi!

As a parent of elementary school aged kids - I am embarrassed to say there are math problems in their homework that I need to look up the answers to - so around here we are all trying to work more on those math facts!

Glad I get to supply the chocolate cream pie and not have to teach the lesson.
